Today is growth day, and we are delighted to announce that European members already represent 19% of Professional Disc Golf Association Global members, having increased by 3% in just 18 months: Go Europe! 🇪🇺
In terms of countries by absolute numbers, the podium is formed by Sweden 🇸🇪 with 4,485 members, Finland 🇫🇮 with 3,425 and Norway 🇳🇴 with 3,042.
In terms of percentage growth we have:
- Large countries (>3,000 PDGA members): Norway 🇳🇴, growing 15% more than the PDGA global average, followed by Sweden 🇸🇪 +11% and Finland 🇫🇮 +1%.
- Medium countries (between 500 and 3,00 members): France 🇫🇷 18.5% above, followed by Denmark 🇩🇰 +16% and Czech Republic 🇨🇿 +10%.
- Small countries (between 50 and 500 members): Poland 🇵🇱 +41%, followed by Italy 🇮🇹 +30% and Latvia 🇱🇻 +20%.
- Very small countries (in terms of disc golf, with less than 50 PDGA members): Ukraine 🇺🇦 leads with +82%, followed by Slovenia 🇸🇮 +55% and Portugal 🇵🇹 +35%.
