For most competitive professionals, winning a Disc Golf Pro Tour event is a box they want to check off on their list of accomplishments. But with the competition at such an elite level, you really have to be on your game to come out on top after a long and hard weekend of disc golf.
On the first weekend of August, professional and amateur players from all over the world made their way to Stockholm (Sweden) to take part in the Tyyni Disc Golf X Järva Open experience. While Tyyni is normally held in Finland, this year the event moved to the Swedish capital, joining forces with the Järva Open to create a world-class atmosphere and the ideal setting to win!
After almost two years since his last Professional Disc Golf Association win, Kerava-born Joona Heinänen must have been delighted to find his way back to the top of the podium at a DGPT Europe Silver event.
